Today’s Veterans Day assembly was a truly moving tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country.
From the inspiring welcome by the FFA President, the beautiful rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner by our talented band, and the heartfelt speeches by the FFA officers, to the powerful words from Sen. Tom Woods, every moment was filled with gratitude and respect. Our second graders’ performance was especially touching, and the
“Salute to Freedom” by the band and Wall of Honor slideshow made for an unforgettable tribute.
We concluded the assembly with a powerful moment, as all veterans in attendance lined up, and each student had the chance to walk by and shake their hands. It was a beautiful way for our students to personally thank these heroes and show their appreciation.
A huge thank you to the Hulbert FFA, Student Council, Hulbert Band, and our wonderful second-grade class for making it all possible. Thank you to everyone who came together to honor our veterans. It was a day filled with pride and appreciation, reminding us all of the sacrifices made for our freedom.
