Information for the Regional Basketball tournament at Wilburton beginning this Thursday, February 22, 2024. 2024 Regional Tournament Information • The 2A Region IV Tournament will be held in Wilburton from 2/22-2/24.The first session will start at 1PM. Gates will open at 12:00 PM. The second session will start at 6 PM, with gates opening at 5 PM. • There will be NO FOOD OR DRINK brought into the Gymnasium. Meals for teams will need to be approved by the site manager prior to bringing them in the gymnasium. • The following items are not allowed that may be a distraction to the participants or fans. This includes; bands of any size, noise makers, confetti, banners, emblems, fat heads, placard signs, thundersticks, balloons, laser lights, megaphones, or any other items causing possible distraction. • School administration should not allow fans to sit behind the opposing teams bench area. • The host school will post predetermined seating by the gate as you walk in. • The OSSAA requires that we clear the gymnasium between sessions. • Tickets are available for purchase on Gofan App prior to games for $8.35 for all ages. • Tickets at the gate on the day of games will $10 for all ages. • Official OSSAA Playoff passes will be accepted at the gate through the GoFan App.

Parent/teacher conferences will begin Monday, February 5, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm for middle and high school students. Tuesday, February 6, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm for elementary students, and Friday, February 9, from 8 am to 11 am for all schools. We hope to see you there!

The Hulbert Arts and Crafts Club presented the Read Squad and the Book Buddies with small gifts of appreciation for their volunteer efforts with assisting our elementary student with reading. These students volunteer for at least 22 hours over the course of the school year.

Lady Riders Varsity Basketball got the W 48-26 over Newkirk to advance to the semifinals tomorrow at 4pm at the Mounds Invitational Tournament. Go Riders!

Hulbert Riders Varsity Basketball comes out on top defeating Mounds 47-44 in opening play on Thursday at the Mounds Invitational Tournament. They will advance to the semi-finals tomorrow at 8:30pm.

Hulbert High School is pleased to announce the valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2024. Congratulations to Miss Jenna Murphy for being named the valedictorian of this year’s graduating class. Jenna has attended Hulbert Public Schools for 13 years and is graduating with a 4.12 GPA. Jenna is involved in gifted and talented, student council, ROHC, National Honor Society, and QUESTT Educational Talent Search. Jenna plans to attend the University of Arkansas to major in Chemical and Aerospace Engineering. Her goal is to work in a STEM related field. Congratulations are also in order for Miss Mazie Carey, who has been named this year’s salutatorian. Mazie has been a Hulbert Rider for 14 years and has earned a GPA of 4.02. Mazie is a member of the volleyball team, gifted and talented, ROHC, and National Honor Society. Mazie’s future plans include attending NSU to pursue a degree in education. Her career goal is to become a teacher and volleyball coach
